SHIGARAKI is one of the Six Japanese Old Kilns(from the Kamakura period, A.D.1185~A.D.1333) located in Kouga, Siga-prefecture (a famous Ninja’s origin)
The Shigaraki kiln is said to be the oldest of the six kilns. The simple feel of clay and the taste it brings out has been loved by many people for years.
