Yuzen is a method of dyeing hand-woven silk that is traced back to the 17th century Japan. Yuzen played a big role in history in creating beautiful Kimonos. Chirimen is a Japanese term describing a dull crepe fabric made with a course yarn. Originally of silk but now found in man made filaments such as polyester, rayon.
